always been a balcony gardener, in a house since 2006, small lot 35X100, but i'm trying to cover as much ground as i can, no lawn in the back and i will attack the front this year. I find gardening an amazing source for relaxation and stress relief...i dug a small pond....i love my humble little house....i am hoping this forum is active, i have tried several others but found the activity too sparse, i love it busy...

Hello / Bonjour!

oooh someone who talks a lot – that means there will be lots of discussions coming our way :)

Looking forward to seeing photos of your little piece of this planet!

Welcome indeed, Mario1360. Some of us are more talkative than others, as you will find. We like to help each other out though, where we can.

I note that you are from south shore Montreal. We frequent Montreal for visits, and last year took in the botanical gardens which are amazing.

For what type of gardening do you have a preference? I noitice that you indicated elsewhere that you liked the large hostas, and I immediately was wondering if you were interested in the tropical garden look, as indeed am I.

wish I was in zone 9 some times too, like today, cold and windy even the chickens won’t go out side, the chick in my avatar is still one of my favorites, she is out with the others now but she allways runs up to me and gives me all the hen house gossip. Mark
