Part 1: Mantis
Okay, tricked ya, this is nothing like MsDeb’s postings. We live in the middle of suburbia, shessh. But I suppose we do get the occasional raccoon stealing the cat food, and a squirrel now and then, plus I’ve seen rabbits in the front yard, and voles in the garage. Part 2: Finches
I’ve mentioned in some other entry about the Goldfinches stripping the lower leaves of my sunflowers, now some cousin or other is taking care of the flowers and seeds themselves. I hope they leave me enough seeds to replant next year (I got the seeds for these from dead-heading some flowers outside my daughter’s pre-school last year).
