What a beautiful Shepherd, how old?? ... we had our Shepherd when the kids were young … Ezmerelda (Ezzy for short) ... man I LOVED that dog!!!

Welcome to GT, Glen. Where are you and your buddy located? Do you have any special plants that you grow there?

The photo of your Shepherd reminds me of my dad, who used to have amazing roses in Stratford Ontario. He always had the first out in the spring, and the last blooms in the fall. People used to ask him what his secret was, and he would say to them “Well, I do have a big dog in the garage.” LOL I think he had a few other secrets as well. I cannot grow nice roses at all. The bugs seem to get them first.

At any rate, feel free to jump right into the various discusssions going on. Photos of your garden are always appreciated by all, as it gives us a better understanding of what you have to deal with in your gardens.
