Bon, once again, you have some very lovely blooms. This is the season that many garden tours are taking place and I feel like I have just had a tour of yours. I especially like that showy Rudbeckia with the autumn colours and the Echinacea, with the same colours. They look like they are huge blooms. I don’t think I have ever seen white hollyhocks, I may need some of those seeds if you have a couple extas. :) What a very pretty clematis! Are those sweet peas or eating peas? They have a sweet bloom. Is the Eucomis a bulb that you planted? Is it also called ‘pineapple flower’? I like those pretty blue and white bachelor buttons with the phlox. You have lots of colour in your gardens despite the dought. Nice, very nice. Thanks for the tour!

Happy to see such a variety of blooms in your garden. They have been photographed so nicely.

Iris the rudbeckia autumn colors is huge this year compared to last year. The flowers have to be about 6” across and there is tons of flowers on the plant I’m really pleased with it this year. The peas I’m not really sure of I grew two different pkgs. this year.I think they must be eating peas because the pods are not too tender even when they are small.I’ll know better next year.(lol)The pineapple plant is a bulb that I got the first year here. This is my third summer in this house so it’s 3 years old.I started with one and now I have 3 plants.I hope next year I have 4. :-)

Wow that is a beautiful clematis. ... just gorgeous.
My hollyhocks are not out yet. I love them, and truly associate them with summer. I remember as a child making “ladies” out of them with their colourful skirts. I think mom showed us how to make them, but I don’t think dad liked all 4 of us dismantling his garden to make “ladies”. LOL

Absolutely wonderful flowers, Bon and very nicely photographed. I especially like all your yellow/red/orange flower combinations. They definitely feel like summer. I really like the yellow hollyhocks. If I am able to keep my little plants alive, they might look like yours next year. : ) Great story, Jroot.
