Part 1: jonquils and tulips

Well, this new yard is not a completely blank slate, after all. Right up tight against the house, along the southwest corner, is a bed?,patch?,strip about 9 inches wide full of jonquils and tulips.And, since the other place is not yet sold, later this week, I will be raking back the cover down there anyway, and any little noses poking up above the dirt may well travel northwest a few blocks to this new place. ;)

Part 4: Done Hauling, Still Planting

Well, I got at least some of everything from the old yard brought down here, and, hopefully, we have “gotten rid of” the old place. After 3 months of carrying double bills, we decided to donate it to a family in need. Called Salvation Army, and within a half hour there was a young newly-single mom out looking at it. As long as the park approves her application, she has a new (old) home, free and clear, and we no longer have 2 lot rents, etc.Yays all the way around!

Part 5: Home, Finally

Well, as GramT let y’all know, I just spent a week in hospital. Not life-threatening, but definitely life changing. My severe asthma has now flopped all the way over to COPD. I am on oxygen, 24/7 for now, may still improve a bit over time.So, anyway, now the neighbors get a new visual treat. They’re used to me out there gardening in my little surgical mask, now they get to see me playing while attached to an oxy tether. I may suddenly be playing a whole lot slower, but I refuse to...
