GETTING BACK TO BASICS
This is the last year of working for me.We have become comfortable enough for me to be be able to retire at 60.This winter I will be planning my gardens and starting plants from seed as to be able to grow all our own food in 2012.I will now have the time to have all the flower gardens thriving and be able to grow alot more plants to fill them.I will be able to say where and when things will happen and have the time to enjoy my suroundings and get back to nature.I will grow new foods that I have not grown before and research recipes to best utilize these foods that I will lovingly nurture and harvest and preserve for the long cold winter.
Yes looking forward to retirement, and instead of striving for the best of everything,I will make the best of everything.Goodbye stress, hello bliss!

Ha ha ha that’s what I thought and then one day I realised that I was actually working way harder in the gardens than I ever did at work. LOL
But it still beats punching a clock.

After working at my job all day,I try to cram in gardening chores when I get home and on weekends. Not fun when one is already beat down, exhausted and stressed out from the job.
The work in the gardens is heavy yes,but oh so gratifying, and so relaxing, and done at my own pace, ahhhh, cant wait.
