Still so much span on this website, wonder if you will ever get a grip.

Anyhow, went to the botanical garden last weekend. It’s realtively easy to take sharp pictures these days, but is this always the best thing to do? I vaguely remember there was a school of photography maybe 100 years or so ago where they slightly defocussed the lens. They argued that this was more what the human eye pereives.

Hmm, what is the botanical garden about? Plants, flowers, colors, contrast between green and colors…
Here’s the results. Mostly vinca, salvia, rose, sun flower, turks cap, American beautyberry.

did you put Vaseline on the lens ?

for a second I thought it was my Birthday and I was tipsy : ))

regardless, colour is one of my favourite things to see and abstract, one of my favourite forms of colour to canvass

-- just one more rock, and the garden is done ; )
