Thanks….the only thing that drove me to take the citizenship, is the aggravation I get every time I try to cross into the US, even though I have been going there for years since I was a kid ( by air ).

bullseye: I’m new today so I’m not sure how I contact you. I was wondering if you still have portulaca seeds. I started gardening last year and dont have a lot of seeds to trade, just some Datura and Shoefly. Dahlitsa

Hello Bullseye or anyone that can help me,
I came across this seed exchange site and read about the seeds you have. I have searched my tail off looking for a true yellow flowered hardy hibiscus…I live in USDA zone 7-8. I can’t find “any” hardy hibiscus (syriacus, rose of sharon, swamp mallow or rose mallow hibiscus) that have a true deep yellow flower. You stated that you have a hardy hibiscus and the flowers are yellow. I will glady swap seeds, pay or whatever it takes to get some seeds or a plant start. I would like any information (names of yellow hibiscus or a nursery that sells/ships them) on a true yellow flowered hardy hibiscus. I have a large book called “FLORA” “The Gardeners Bible” and it says there is a herbaceous hybrid hibiscus good in zones USDA 5-10 and it is called “Miss Kitty”. Again, I have searched the internet, asked people and at inquired at my local nursery
and have had no luck. Drop me an email at peschytz@hotmail.com Thanks so much!!!

Add me to the list, Bullseye, for the yellow hardy hibiscus. I was not aware that there was one, and would be truly interested in starting one. Can one make a cutting from a hardy hibiscus?

I was on a garden tour the other day, and someone had a hardy hibiscus which had leaves very different from one that I have ever seen before,- like three fingers. It has indeed come up for several years, so is indeed hardy. The Hardy Hibiscus that I had seen before have not had the three finger shaped leaves.
