Greetings to GT's

I haven't gardened in years and hoping this year will be
a new beginning with an attempt in container gardening
along with a very small veggie garden of the usual.

My property is a challenge in itself and hoping to learn
much from GT's.

Hi Blooz
Container gardening,I am into that too.We have lots of gardens here, but the containers are always my favourites.Maybe because they are right outside the door and next to the deck.Or maybe because they never need weeded.lol
Welcome.

Hi Blooz

My favorite is container plantings, what’s great about it is that you can put pots anywhere you like and you can move them around to get the best advantage of the sun. If I can be of any help let me know.

I read somewhere (maybe here) that the containers is a great way to start out so you can decide where you want the plants once you decide to put them in the ground. Just move the pots around until you like the look and then you can plant accordingly.

Container gardening is so much fun … you can put a plant in just about anything and just let your imagination run. Grouping shapes, heights, colors … goes on, and on.

Have you started anything yet Blooz??

Blooz

I understand gardening is new to you?? or am I thinking of someone else

containers are great

I used them when I was laid up in the chair for almost 6 years

I had the container on my deck. Then I just did my wheelies , lol,lol from the kitchen to the deck

Had lots of fun and had lots of veggies too

You be surprised how many toms comes on one plant

I had tomatoes, cukes, yellow beans. I had a salad garden in one tub

2 kinds of leaf lettuce, raddish, and chard

I just cut the lettuce and chard off as I used it. It will keep growing back

Have fun
