I am a retired telephone employee. I was raised in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennesse. I went to the state of California out of high school and spent 33 years keeping the folks out their talking. Took retirement and bought a small (14 acres) farm in Central Missouri. My main hobby is woodworking, but I am starting to putter around with vegetable gardening. The bulk of my farm is used for hay production. Hope to learn a lot from this site.
