Retired, lost vegetable garden when we moved. Now work with small areas of herbs as second hobby is cooking. Still woodwork though, can't get rid of all my hobbies.
Had gardens for over 40 years. Last one was biggest. Had apple, peach and cherry trees, gooseberry hedge row. Grew tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, garlic, onions, and peppers. Flower beds had peonies, hostas, roses, tulips, daffodils, day lilies, crocus and pansies. All gone now but learning to cope.

Herbs can be a great pleasure to both grow and eat. This season, I am trying to expand my practical knowledge of different kinds of herbs, both in gardening and in cooking.
