2 acres of treefarm, 1/2 acre of gardens. An eclectic mix of small niche gardens. The asian styled garden I built with my youngest daughter is the centerpiece and a quiet place to relax.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Yes I built the arbor. When I saw the price to buy one it kicked off my 1st serious ventures into woodworking. For less than what it would have cost to buy one I bought a tablesaw, jigsaw and all the wood. We had a lot of fun building this garden. The nice thing is that as it has matured its gotten better and better. Its a very private quiet place to relax. You can see some of it here.

Thoroughly enjoyed looking at your web page.
The water features are great as are the diagrams.
We are hoping to start a new pond as the old one is too big and in the wrong place.
Thanks for the inspiration.

I’ve taken down our treefarm website since we are no longer operating the farm. I’ll be reposting the pctures and such that I think folks will like on photobucket and showing them here eventually.

It is….we have a lot of great memories. But it is time to make new ones. We are really enjoying life at the moment. Living for the day, stopping to smell the roses and all that. Most of what I do these days involves getting on the water but I was thinking of GT today while we were reseeding our front lawn. We are finally going to get our vegetable garden rebuilt…probably next weekend and I was thinking I’d blog the progress. Our yard and gardens had kind of slipped because of my health issues but the standup paddling has proved to be such amazing therapy that I feel not only normal again but better and stronger than I have in years. I feel bad that I haven’t been as active on LJ and here as I would like but I just don’t have the time. I’m afraid if I stop spending time on my board that my head will start going south again.

You have some gorgeous shots, TreeFarmer. Well done.

Any current shots of your garden? I love the Plymouth area. We were down there again last fall.

Thank you…i’ve been meaning to get out and get some recent photos but I’m afraid it looks like a jungle in my yard these days. I’ve been deep in training for a charity event I’m planning http://www.capecodbaychallenge.org/
so yardwork is way way behind. The yard was weed free late spring but now they’ve come back with a vengeance. Once the challenge is over I’m going to spend a week in the yard just weeding and cleaning.

We look forward to it. That is the beauty of this site. One can sometimes see something in someone’s garden, and it opens a door in the mind for another creative idea for our own gardens. Post away. :)
