Hi Debbie,
Thanks for the nice welcome, and good to meet you! I’m looking forward to meeting lots of great gardeners here. It may take a little time to get my bearings on the site and get a few pictures of my garden and profile together, but I’m excited about learning and sharing with folks on the site. I have already checked out a few posts and blogs and it looks like everyone here has a lot of fun with their garden projects. I’m there! There are some really great ideas and awesome gardens to check out! Can’t wait to get started learning!
Terry

super :)
the site is really easy to get around. Check out “the pulse”.. that’s the key!!
And re: uploading pictures—you get to put 6 photos of your garden directly onto the site and 3 pictures of each project you post. Pictures in “comments” and in your blog need to be hosted elsewhere on the net.
Those are important “NOTES” :)

Damocles,
The wire around the garden is to keep out the wild rabbits as well as my sweet little australian sheperd “Molly” who likes to eat my vegi’s before I can get to them. She was getting just about everything that was just about ready to pick. I have managed to get a fairly decent crop this year though. I plant just about everything I can squeeze into the space and I am an organic gardener all the way. I use companion planting for all my gardens. This I learned from my mother growing up. She was a very avid reader of Mother Earth News from the very first magazine published.

I’d love to see how you mix your plants.

Good old Mother Earth News. I remember reading those early issues.

I see an answer to my question earlier today about the fencing. How high does the fence have to be to keep the rabbits away? We have the same problem here.
