I am a 34 year old mother of 4 and was born with a green thumb. I was raised by my mother, who could kill a cactus and often wondered why I was able to do so well with my houseplants, until I met my father when I was 18 and seen his BEAUTIFUL garden and all the little cups and jars around his house rooting every different kind of plant imaginable! I wish I had known about my talent sooner, as up until my twenties, I had only had potted houseplants. I have had many pretty flower gardens in the many rent houses I've lived in and now that I own a house have been trying my hand at vegetables, as I now have a desire to feed my family from my own garden. I do not have any formal education or knowledge of gardening to speak of, everything I have ever done has just been on instinct alone, but I am finding I need a little more than instinct, lol!
