Well this weekend has been a very busy one for me so I thought I would tack what I’m up to this fall for gardens sake…..For starters this start out as a need for a place for apple trees, grape vines and blueberry plants. I told my neighbor about this and he came up with a plan…He would provide the labor ie equipment if I gave his son a PUD easement to his new house being built 600’ from mine. So we talked about it, through in a free road grading of my mile long driveway and thus a blog was born. Here is what has been done so far…....

My community church garden plot just gave me these squash. The white one is patty pan and the green and white are ? I cooked the patty pan at 400 for 30 minutes added 2 tbs of butter and peppered to taste. yummy good, better tasting than potatoes…....I was told that it is a heirloom squash dating back 400 yrs so I saved the seeds…Does anyone know what the other green and white squash is?

Dillon my little boy (white lab) had a heart attack on July 4th and died just after midnight. So this blog goes out to him. I would like to get suggestions from all of you here as to what type of flowers do you think he would like in his garden. Thanks Dillon is watching over all of us, running in the woods sniffing the flowers forever.
