September 6, 2008

I’ve been enjoying this view for the past week or so and thought maybe I should post it here.
This is looking out my dining room window (metal is our aerial).

I retouched the photo a bit to counteract the grey of the window screen and the umm.. dirty window.. haha

Gotta love those morning glories. They have such pretty colours in them now.Mine are doing really good right now too.I tried seeds I ordered from Dominion this year that were supposed to be chocolate coloured.Well all the other colours came up but I still haven’t seen any chocolate yet.Does anyone know why they didn’t grow with the others?

MsD., I guess you know how much I love morning glories———we seem to have had the same thoughts of sharing. Don’t you just love how little work they are and how faithful they are coming back every year——And how they will cover anything that needs covering with a riot of blooms and foliage. They are just one of the best work-horses of the garden. (We won’t mention how hard it is to get rid of them if you decide you don’t want them in that spot) ;-)

Nice photo

I too have mroning glories and they tend to “take over”. The seeds drop and Bingo, next spring they grow again. At least they are easy to control and provide quick growing climbers that fill in voids and hide “eyesores”

Cheers

Ok.. here’s the pix of a print that was just made on an old printer.
This was taken hmmm about 10 years ago with an old, old digital camera and then edited on an old photo program. (sheesh—both must now be dinosaurs. Oh wait, does that make “ME” a dinosaur??—don’t answer that XO haha)

WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!! Gorgeous photo!!!! Thanks for digging till you found it.

It rained most of the night here and sleeping was wonderful … cool weather and the sound of rain, nothing better!!! It is beautiful today, cool but filled with sunshine. Took “Ms. Cane” and myself out for a walk this morning … trying to walk daily now. I do love this Fall weather …

Me, I just keep looking at my front bed. Know I need to start cutting back, just can’t seem to come up with the energy to do it. Guess it ain’t going anywhere … :-)

Nice, MsDebbie. Glad to see your Morning Glories came. For some strange reason, mine did not generate this year, until about 4 weeks ago, one germinated. I don’t think it will flower before frost though.
