This morning when I walked around the yard I counted the number of baby “golden dogwoods” that I found under my tree and transplanted throughout the yard.
I have 7. One of them has snuck in with another one so it needs to be moved. The pretty yellow leaves will look lovely throughout the yard.
And here are my two pawpaw trees that have survived the rabbits – several years in a row. I think I’ll be letting my large trees go full size and these two I will prune to maintain a manageable height. The rabbits have already helped out with this process.
And, Jroot … I always think of you when I see this flowering bush. I chuckle every time, thinking of how you introduce it to visitors :)
And lastly …. here are some wolfberry plants that I started from seed this spring. ... I hope that is what they are, anyway. .. and I hope that they grown into fruit-bearing bushes.
