After canning up my Mock Pineapple (LINK) I found a yummy dessert recipe that used crushed pineapple … hmm
So, I opened up one of my jars of zucchini “pineapple” and whipped it together.
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple (using my canned zucchini instead)
1 can sweetened condensed milk (can’t go wrong with this super sweet ingredient!)
1 container cool whip
Mix and chill.
It was yummy!! We ate a little for supper and I put the rest in the freezer.
Last night I tried the frozen version – oh yes, like a delicious ice cream.
