A “Thinking Outside the Inside of your Window Box” Challenge

A “what?” - you’ll see.
What are we going to do? – you’ll see.
What will we need? – you’ll see.
Who is going to tell us the “how to”? – JustJoel. Now we’ve got your attention! (Check out some of his other creative projects here: http://gardentenders.com/members/justjoel/projects)

The Goal: JustJoel is going to creating a “Thinking Outside the Inside of your Window Box” something-or-other and we get to make our own version whatever that might be, following his directions.

The Timeframe: Due to busy schedules, this will be a time-flexible project, based on JustJoel’s time to post the blogs and your time to complete each step.

The Materials: JustJoel will be posting the first blog soon and then he will be letting us know what we need to gather for this project.

The Finished Project: although everyone participating will be making the same thing, each creation will probably look different based on abilities, materials and tools available, interpretations and creativity.

The Outcome: Fun – and a “Thinking Outside the Inside of your Window Box” something-or-other.

Here is the link to JustJoel's blog for the challenge.

NOTE: if you blog about your creating process and when you post your final project, please tag it as “challenge09” so we can find them easily. Thanks.

I’m so outside the box, that I have already started! Can’t wait to see if Joel can make a project to guess what I am making!

daltxguy—that’s got me laughing … already started.. too funny.

I, too, look forward to seeing what we make.. and to start, I look forward to seeing what we are going to be using!

Did you see this window at the San Francisco Garden Show 2007. It reminded me of Joel’s challenge, although the box is missing.

So outside the box, they didn’t need one! Cool!

But the outside window is actually inside an inside box, so there is still a box!

I think they’re called “buildings” now-a-days. ;-)
