Walkabouts 2010 #11: September 3, 2010
What a beautiful day outside today – no humidity factor, not too hot and relatively no mosquitoes! I went outside to do one little thing and ended up taking a walkabout around the front yard. While I was out there I pulled bindweed (argh) from my raised bed—can you believe it? It found its way into my new strawberry bed. I also had to cover up plant roots after the chickens from next door dug out some bugs, I guess. There are now 11 chickens out and about. Earlier today there were all up on my deck, outside my patio door, cleaning their feathers.
