I never thought I would be a gardener. I don't have fond memories of gardening growing up. I was given a small patch of dirt hidden beside the front door and was told that was my garden and that I could only plant begonias. I hated begonias.

Once I grew up and got my own place with my own patch of dirt, I started experimenting. "Let's plant it and see what it does" was my motto. Still kinda is... but I've learned more as the years have gone by. I've moved on from that patch of dirt to a new patch of dirt. And even some pots. And next year... maybe some begonias.
