Hi Louise,
Somebody that inspires you to create such beauty has to be very special!
My thoughts are with you!

Thank you for enlarging the pictures Louise. Your MIL must have been quite a gardener! Beautiful and very inviting. How you must miss her!!! I am sure she would be so proud of you and your gardens … :-)

Thanks Eklectic nice hearing from you again. I’m going to see if I have more photos of her garden, she loved to spend hours tending her plants.

Thanks for the comment, she loved gardening and I remember after she passed away my husband and his sister sold the home. But I remember going down there gathering up all her oriental lanterns that she loved putting in the garden and brought them home. Now they’re in my garden and when I’m gardening and I happened to walk by one I remember the good times we had.

very special.
sometimes I guess people forget about the gardens when selling a home .. focus is on the house and contents.
I’m glad you were able to save the lanters

Louise, I love that you have your MIL’s lanterns!!! How you must treasure them!!! Me, I have Hosta’s from my grandfather’s gardens that I have taken from house to house. So I totally understand how you LOVE and treasure those lanters and the memories they bring back everytime you stroll through your gardens!
