Kitty Cat came back and I think now has officially moved in, my Internet was down the past two days so I could not post sooner. I am not sure if Kitty will be a permanent resident, I hope so. While I am back online though, does anyone know about Red Trailing Ice Plant, I am not sure it classified name, its a succulent. My question is does it allow for any other kinds of grass and weeds to grow ??

This?

Given the dense growth, it would do well at blocking out other plants within its growth area.
There are several colors. What zone are you in, BTW?
If you’re not sure, put your zipcode in here and it spit out the zone.

haha it’s always unsettling to be reminded that we do not rule the world, isn’t it, Greenthumb?? hahaha
Cats do have that power – we can’t “make” them do what we want them to do.. yah.. evil ;D

WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT VIEWS ABOUT VARIOUS ANIMALS I HAVE ONLY BEEN TO AMERICA ONCE TO PENNSILVANIA AND MOST PEOPLE I MET THERE REGARDED DEER AS VERMIN AND SEEM TO ENJOY SHOOTING THEM BUT DID NOT EAT THEM.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE DEER NEAR ME BUT THEY ARE VERY SHY CREATURES AND I HAVEN`T SEEN ONE YET.
MY WIFE TRIED HAND FEEDING A SQUIRREL ONE DAY AND IT BIT HER , IT TURNED OUT ALRIGHT IN THE END I TOOK THE SQUIRREL TO GET AN ANTI TETNOUS INJECTION AND IT SEEMED OK.!!!!!

Greenthumb you are hilarious … have to agree, vast difference between cats and dogs; but I love them both.

Mike exclaimed!
“MY WIFE TRIED HAND FEEDING A SQUIRREL ONE DAY AND IT BIT HER”
Squirrels can’t see straight ahead so when you feed a new squirrel he has trouble judging distance and will grab your fingers by mistake.
I have been so nicked up training squirrels that I had to wear bandaids which they hated and freaked out.
Once they figure out the game distance they will never bite you agian.
Most are very gentle.
I’m talking “Reds” now and have no experience with grays or blacks.
Should be relative I would think.

there was a photographer one one of the photo sites who used to set up an old camera and put nuts behind the viewer and then he’d take pictures of them as they stood behind the camera. He did such an amazing job – it really did look like the squirrels were photographers.. wish I could find his work again
