Hello, My garden is eclectic, I grow plants with hardiness zones from 2-11. I like doing garden projects from arbours to stepping stones. My growing season is short final frost date is May 21,and we ar eusually safe until the third week in Sept. My zone is 3b.

I love eclectic :)
is that a clock/planter-hanger combination?

Hi Joelle. Welcome to GardenTenders. What an interesting corner you have created. If you like gardening and by the look or your plants and your comments, you do. You have come to the right place. You will find many like-minded people here. I am looking forward to seeing your pictures and hearing about your gardening experiences.

Your frosts dates sound very much like mine but I have always believed that MooseJaw has a harsher climate than SW Ontario. It’ll be intersting to compare. 8^)

Welcome to GT, Joelle. Our gardening tastes are somewhat similar. Tropical to very hardy.

I’ve never been to Moosejaw, Sask, but my wife tells me, apparently I am driving her on a long trip to Edmonton from southern Ontario to visit her brother who just moved south to Edmonton from Slave Lake. I’m not sure when the trip will be. I think I’ll try to postpone it as long as I can. LOL

We look forward to seeing what you do in your garden, Joelle.

Thanks Jroot! That will be a loooong drive, the good thing about driving through the prairies is you can slip into ‘auto pilot’ and enjoy the view….no curves in the road and no trees to block your view, just mile after mile of blue sky and wheat fields!!! HAAHA! Oh yeah, and the speed limit is 110!
