Well after days of cold cold weather, mother nature gave us a bit of a break today. The metal shop very cold gave some relief from the cold wind and rain and allowed the precutting of most all the pieces.
I fitted all the parts first so it would be like an erector set type of building…fun.
As the frame went together I see where a few metal ties are needed to keep very strong winds from budging it.
After getting the windows I saw the black tubular frame would never hold the weight of the glass so I had to remove it and replaced it with this.^^
I used some very tough aluminum metal channel on the side walls for the rafters to tie into.
I drilled the metal then tapped threads for the bolts to fasten the corner posts to the metal channel.
I know im in a bit of a hurry but I had to see how it was going to look with a couple of windows put up there…I intend to wash the windows before they are installed for good.

Atleast two …one on each side of the roof will have a small window that will act as a vent with a auto opener on it.
Well thats all I could get the guys to do today so hopefully tomorrow will add more life to this very small but fun hobby green house.
If the weather holds out maybe paint will be applied we shall see.
Happy gardening
God Bless
