I bought two sizes of cement baskets many years ago now, for our old home, and have had fun over the years filling them with different flowers. The smaller of the two baskets has always been somewhat of a challenge to grow flowers in because the basket truly will only accomodate one plant. Well this year I made a wonderful choice when I planted ONE “neon raspberry” Petunia within it.
So while my other containers and baskets are dying back, this little Petunia is blooming like crazy; coming into it’s own, so to speak. So figured I would share a photo or two of this small cement basket that I have been watching burst with color all summer long.

(I removed the “first” photo.)

Nice basket, the designer could have left off the flower cluster at the handle base but otherwise I like it a lot and the flowers are vibrant.

Thanks so much for “most” of your comments (flowerlover, really … are you kidding!!!???) ... I do love this little basket and it was a “have to have” when I saw it.
XO, I laughed at your comment about the rose cluster of flowers; personally that is what I like best about the basket. Ah, but you and I have different tastes and we both know that is okay and what makes us each special!!

What a pretty eye-catcher. GranT. It looks so natural. Looks like you found the prefect arrangement for the small container. :)

After some thought, I decided to remove the first photo as I don’t really want to offend anyone. It provided some good laughs … but all in all, I just feel better with it removed.
