Christmas is just over 4 week away now! - 19 replies I have done most of my shopping, I despise crowds! Still have to do my cards, wrap gifts, send some via mail. - bought my bows, paper, tags, tape from our dollar store….......you can get alot for a buck! we always use the previous years bows, but they looked a little worn this year. Crocus.......and my love for them - 2 replies I planted 50 bulbs today in containers for a sure sign of spring…on the front deck of our house. -when they are finished blooming next spring, can I dig them up and re-pot next fall so I can continue to use my containers for summer? |

English Ivy - 6 replies Wow, first year with these going up my arbor…and was shocked to see all the leaves turn reds, yellows and oranges…...looks soooooooo pretty! hubby was ready to tear them all down like perrenials, I screamed NO just in time. LOL! |

one giant sunflower - 9 replies I had planted numerous ‘gigantic sunflower flower seeds,’ unfortunately only one ever grew…..darn squirrels! When I went to take this thing down, it was over 7 feet high, its roots were worse than tree roots! had to tear up a three foot area! not happy with this thing! haven’t gone thru the massive hunk of ear... |

Phlox...think that is the right spelling now! - 2 replies Remember I had bought one plant a while back? It had the mildew, got rid of that, now its in bloom again, so when the flowers originally died (not because of the mildew), I now have all new blooms, I had thought once the blooms were done, that was it?.......but more new blooms are back. nice plant, just but it needs some clothes, no leaves!... |

after 8's - 13 replies at he old house I would get seeds from my neighbours, these seeds would turn out a huge push of after 8’s. anyone know if you can buy those seeds? some call them after 4, they only open at night red, yellow and white ones. |

Sick/dying plants - 6 replies We have had our share, but when I was ready to dig up the dying ones & throw them up, DH made a sick garden out back, he dug them up, planted them there, and believe it or not, they all, so far have come back thriving! Perhaps just the change? it works, trust me! |
