I do love that gazebo of yours … as I have said many times!!!!! When I first saw your hanging window I knew I wanted to try that somewhere in my gardens/yard. Soooo loved that creative idea.
And, yes what is the name of your favorite flower?

Girl,I wish I had half your creativity!
So pretty.
Love your “wheels” bed, I’ve seen wheels used before, but this is a first for the entire axle!

Thanks GranT!
And Dini, we found the wheels and axle under a pile of brush when my hubby was clearing for building!
Just had to use it!
Creativity: I can’t bear to throw anything away, so I have to find a way to use it.Hahaha!
And flea markets in the country are a killer!

Like you, Eklectic, I love my Forget-me-nots. People think we are nuts in mid summer, but when they are in bloom, they are awesome.
I am surprised that you are in zone 5a and so far north. Does the Lake have a moderating effect? I am in 5A also, but in southern Ontario, near Guelph.
What are your favourite plants/flowers which grow for you there?

When I saw your comment, I checked the map and to my surprise saw where Google had located me on this site!
I am actually 15 minutes north of the 401, between Cornwall and Brockville!
I love my “Blue Clouds” in the spring/ early summer. I still have a few in bloom!!! I do pull them out once they started going to seed as I have a lot of other plants growing under them. And they start growing back right away and I do move a lot of them around!!
My hope is that next spring the whole front/back/side yard is “blue”!

I have been able to separate the blue ones from the pink ones and the white ones, by doing just what you have done, moving them from place to place. People are surprised to see a large patch of pink forget-me-nots. My father had them, so I was happy to be able to create a similar clump.
I found when initially setting up my position on the google map, I was able to place the balloon fairly accurately. I wonder if there is a way to edit your placement.

I hardly have any pink ones and no white ones but I do like the idea! I will put it on my “to do list”!
I did change my marker last week and it shows properly here!
Doesn’t it show close to the 401 from where you are looking at it?

Yup, just off Mountain Road and Irish Headline Rd at Fulton Rd. Sounds easy enought to get to.
I suppose my initial comment was that I always thought that the Ottawa area was further north than 5a. We have good friends in Ottawa and will be visiting them next month, so I have a fair idea about the area. Grow zones are indeed interesting. There are so many factors which affect the grow zone. I admit that I am not “up” on those.
It is a really nice area that you live in. I have frequently told my wife that I thought that I could live in the area.

Yes, my wife, and son and daughter-in-law are driving to Montreal for a few days, and then to Ottawa to visit friends. My daughter-in-law has not been to either city and is quite excited to see them. Actually, it was she who suggested it.
They have to work (both chefs) so we have to hurry back. Some other time, I might just take you up on the offer though. Thanks.
