Hubby is 6 feet tall!!

The black dots are bees!

And they grow from zone 3 to ???.

Yup, those are the Himalayan impatient plants. They grow really tall in the right condition. I had white ones, pink and red ones. All I have now is one pink one that got away from me. They were really spreading out of control, so I decided to take control of them. LOL. Still one got away. The bees love them. Maybe I’ll try planting them in the lower garden near the bush, like you have done.

HOLY COW!!!!! You aren’t kidding … they grow tall … WOW. Nice looking … and the flowers too!! hahaha!!

IS THAT MAN ONE OF BOBS DWARFS? OR ARE THESE HIMALAYAN THINGS HUGE I AM GLAD I HAVE ONLY GOT A SINGLE 4 FOOT HIGH ONE. MIND YOU THERES A RATHER NASTY INDIVIDUAL I KNOW WHO JUST MIGHT GET A PRESENT OF SOME OF MY SAVED SEED SCATTERED OVER HIS FENCE . YES I LIKE THAT IDEA

Well Mike, he is a dwarf compare to my 7’2” nephew.
And I am sure that nasty individual would not understand why you would give him “flowers”!!
I also like the idea!

Bon,
They do not always get that tall. It depends a lot on soil condition: these are growing in a very “wet” part of the property.
Where there is good drainage, they go to 3’ or 4’ tall unless you water them a lot!
