As mentioned in another blog, I was out of town for a while, and this some of what welcomed me back!!!

Looking really good Eklectic.Love all the different plants and colours.It’s my first year for the malva rosea too.I am really happy with it’s growth rate and colour.

Worth coming home for!!! Beautiful flowers ... my dwarf Gaillardia’s have only one lonely bloom so far in the front bed. But they were started from “nothing” this year, so guess I may have to wait another year for any real color from them. Guess some years you are just thankful the plant “took” and need to be patient for the flowers.
Can you tell I am just a bit jealous of your Gaillardia’s … hahahaha!!!

Thanks all!
GranT: except for the Malva, they have been there for a few years! The matricaria is really blooming this year for the first time in 4 years. Before it was just pitiful !

Well it is nice to know that some flowers just take “time” ... a few of the flowers I have growing in the front bed are new to me because of the different sun requirements I have here verses at the old home. So I am very excited to watch them grow and flower … hence the impatience. Laughed at myself when that one lonely little flower showed up on the dwarf Gaillardia cuz I was just so darn excited to see it. Gardening, I do love it!!!
