I need some help!!!

I got some seeds in the seed exchange and they are growing nicely.
I know nothing about this plant: shade/sun? hight, width, sandy soil, clay?
watering? and anything else anybody can tell me about it.

R of Sharon do well in sun or part shade

They like a good loom, clay mixed do well, mixed with sand is good for drainage

I have some seeds started too
I want the blue one

Good luck with them

This wil be new for me to have one. They are not known here so much

Our neighbor has been fighting off RofS plants since they moved in a few years ago. The previous owner loved them and did nothing to thin out new growth.

Be advised: the seed production each year is prodigious!! And, the stems get woody quickly, and the roots go deep!

Hi BOB,
thanks for the site: on dial up and it just will not “pop up” for me. Will try it another day!

D: Thanks,
I will make sure to put them where it will not matter: maybe by the marsh/pond!!!

Eklectic,
Here in my area I have seen them grow up to 12 ft. You can always prune them to your desired height. They are quite hardy.
