« Part 2: Some minor updates Part 3 of Around the Yard series Part 4: Garden's Doing Well! »

Well, here’s some more things I need to get done..

Father In-Law dropped off this big holly today that he’d dug up.. Said if I could use it.. Told him I can always find a use.. It’ll be going in the front yard somewhere which will have a bed built around it.

Some odd moth hanging to a basket in the front yard.. Thought it was pretty.

I’ve got the supplies in that I need to make the screen for in front of the power box.

Happy Sadie Grace, watching over things while I work. Yes, I even need to do work on her.. I’ve got to get her sheared for the summer so she’s more comfy.. ;)

She’s a cutie, and it sounds like your honey-do list just keeps growing!

Yeah, she’s one of the best dogs I’ve had. Before I got the wireless fence she’d wonder around the back neighborhood, so I ended up putting the collar on her.. She’d always come back, mind you, but it’s safer for her not to wonder around.

Hmmm… I’m the one putting stuff on my todo list… I need to quit talking to myself then.. and calling myself honey.. ;)

Almost all the stuff I do around the house I’m the one who dreams it up and initiates it.. I made the mistake of jokingly telling the wife I wanted an outhouse for the yard to keep tools in.. It’s a snooty neighborhood behind us, so I was going for shock value..

Darned if she didn’t think it over and now she really does want one.. Going to see what kind of rough sawn lumber I have and see if I can sheet it with that and use what I’ve got around.

Cool idea … outhouse … I like it too. Don’t ya just love givin’ the neighbors “something” to talk about. I do!!!

And your dog is just the cutest!!! You have a treasure when you find a good dog.

LOL.. They just stood and stared while I was having the plot tilled.. Big ol’ tractor tillin’ up the ground and the nice $300k houses in the background.. It’s just plain fun. :)

Loved the tractor story Scott … LOL!!!! Bet you are showing your neighbors a thing or two about what “real” gardening is all about. :-)

They know what real gardening is.. It’s picking up the phone and calling Forever Green to do the landscaping while they sip mint juleps and watch.. ;)
