I am retired and love to spend time in the garden. I came to this town about 2 1/2 yrs ago and have started several beds over the past two years. I am also enjoying winter sowing and starting most of my annuals indoors. I am really looking forward to seeing how my biggest backyard bed will do as it was only planted last spring. I have several hostas because of the amount of shade and its such fun finding friends who will share.

Need Suggestions….INSECT PROTECTION
Last year my hollyhocks got eaten by insects and looked like lace. they kept coming back but never did get to bloom. What is an environmentally friendly means of protecting them and others?
