For a couple of mornings we had some gorgeous red skies, which prompted me to remember the old saying;
The first morning the sky was brilliant red but the second had layers of clouds which made the colouring very interesting.

Beautiful. I love some of the sun rises we get. We will have to take warning, indeed, as the cold weather is upon us now.

Iris – the photos were taken just after 7 am in the morning. I was by the kitchen window making my lunch to take to work.
