Fall 2008 #2: Gardern season is winding down

« Part 1: Fall mums Part 2 of Fall 2008 series Part 3: The geese »

Gardening season is winding down here in my part of Ontario, Canada. I’ve been busy gathering up all the garden ornaments that add that extra bit of interest to the garden … to windchimes, the danglers, the little statues etc.

ooh what a wonderful collection!
I’m not much of a “gatherer” so hopefully my little treasures survive the winter.

Love that teapot!! ! ! ! ! !

That collection is just from my back garden. There is a big collection from the front garden to do yet.
I love my teapot totem and have the craf-tea directions for it on my blog and my website.
I’m just figuring out this site, so once I do I will post it somewhere here too.

excellent!!!
I like the idea of gluing them.

At an antique store we go to, the one vendor has created a lamp with tea pots and cups/saucers. For wiring, they obviously have to drill.

I have been admiring CraftyGardener’s work for some time now in her postings on the net. She has some really “crafty” ideas.

I love all sorts of decorations and ornaments in the garden. I don’t really like this time of year when I have to start taking them all in.

Ditto here … kinda sad … gardens are “going to sleep” and I’m not quite ready to hear the “snoring”. ;-)

I’m hoping that I can extend the garden’s life to at least Thanksgiving when I have a houseful of people coming.

Yes, your Thanksgiving is earlier than ours … so that would be really nice.
