Bunting…They were really easy to grow.I just put the seeds in the pot and kept them watered. When they were about 4” high I started to fertilize them with miracle grow.

Yah, I marked this as “favorite” so I can remember to try to find these seeds for my garden next year as well. Be fun to know … if a few of us were growing these next season. Bon you’ll have to let us know in the fall how these little guys did for you. :-)

Are they annuals?
What a show stopper!
They would be so nice in a flower bed! Surrounded by low growing yellow flowers!

Eklectic…yes they are annuals. They seem to be a low growing plant but spread.I have them in a fairly small pot but I think next year I will try them in a hanging basket.

Sad to say they quit blooming two weeks ago and I couldn’t get any seed from them.Never had a flower just shrivel up and die like it did.It got lots of TLC too.

Well I have a few Petunia pots that did/are doing that for me!!! I cannot explain it either. Not overwatered, nor underwatered … fertilized.Blooming like crazy; gorgeous … then started shriveling up. Crazy!!!! And yet, other Petunia pots are gorgeous. Go figure!!!!
Feel your frustration!!!

I have this flower and I have found that it is not at all drought tolerant;one day without water and it shrivels and two days and it is dead.If I don’t have time to water anything else I always make sure it gets water.I grew them as a late winter sowing amd I have kept them as a container plant. Because of the weather I haven’t even thought about seed but I will look when I get off the internet.
I have them alone in one container and in a second container they are in a mixed group and it is cute to see them peeking out from behind one of the other plants.
I probably won’t grow them again.
