Recipes from the Garden #3: Pickled Garlic

391 days ago by mtkate | 4 comments »

I checked to see if anyone has ever posted their recipe for pickled garlic… but it seems this might be the first. It’s a great early august recipe (at least in zones 4-5!) I just made 6 X 250ml jars of it so I thought I would share. I have friends who go gaga over this stuff. Personally, I love to put it on top of cottage cheese with some toast. Also great on Ryita. Our "Edibles" #44: Kohlrabi - Dehydrated

399 days ago by MsDebbieP | 8 comments »

As you know, this year is really going to focus on dehydrating produce. Unfortunately, I didn’t look at dehydrating recipes etc before I planted this year’s garden.
