I had this Idea in my head for years and finally put it to soil. I wanted to create a fountain that was made with over flowing coffee and tea pots. The pots were salvaged from a junk store by me. I dug a tub into the ground for the three pumps (one for each pot because of thier height) I ran tubing up the galvanized pipes and sealed the pots with pond sealant. Since these pictures were taken I have planted the garden area with buterfly bush, kousa dogwood, iris, mums, lily of the valley, ...

As we build our personal retreat in the backyard, we seem to just go with the moment and build/add whatever feels right.
For example, last summer my son and his family moved from Ontario across the country to British Columbia. They left behind a small fountain that they had in their backyard. “Sure, I’ll take it”, I said, wanting a fountain but having no idea where it would go in our acre piece of land.
