The nights are getting a bit cooler now and September is right around the corner. As I gaze out into my yard I am realizing that this is really the tail end of my flowers and their beautiful colors. Summer is quickly coming to an end.
When hubby and I went away on our latest vacation, I had expected to come home to the dreary task of beginning to put my gardens to “bed”. A task that I hate because I know fall is basically here and winter not far behind.

Rudbeckia Prairie Sun ... they are beginning to spread and bloom like crazy. I love this flower!!
Dwarf Hollyhock has gotten a bit taller with more blooms now. It looks so dainty, but the stem is quite strong. Also my white Coneflowers behind it.
