We have a little chimenia fish that we have had sitting by the pond for forever and decided to make him actually do something, so the wife stuffed him full of dirt and then shoved Sedum in his mouth and up at the tail.. I think it looks rather cute, if even hung over.
Now.. As for the pole beans.. We’ve got a two rows that are around 16-20’ long which needed support so this is what I came up with. I’m sure you recall my past post about my plan. Since they’re sen...

And here’s the rest in a much wider view.
The garden along the walk is popping left and right. In a few days I figure there will be color the whole way down.
So going to love breaking up this sidewalk and putting in something more flowing down through here.
It’s almost like we were meant to be here.. This is what is across the road in the ditch.. Runs for a good way either direction and almost in conjunction with our property line.
The dog run is still looking jam p...

Last year I ordered the mixed daylilies for naturalizing from Veseys, however when they arrived most were moldy, unusual for Veseys. I called them for a replacement but they were sold out but quickly offered an assortment of their fancy varieties as a replacement, I think the total value was over $100 and I paid $29.
I am not sure of the names but here are some that are now in bloom:
If you know the names of any of these please let me know.

The nights are getting a bit cooler now and September is right around the corner. As I gaze out into my yard I am realizing that this is really the tail end of my flowers and their beautiful colors. Summer is quickly coming to an end.
When hubby and I went away on our latest vacation, I had expected to come home to the dreary task of beginning to put my gardens to “bed”. A task that I hate because I know fall is basically here and winter not far behind.
As we approached the ...

Missed yesterday, which sucks. There were two new that I’d lost track of.
So long as I get the bulk of them though and get these pics IDed I can start cataloging their locations next year, then will just fill in the blanks.
Anyway, no clue what these are or if they’re dupes. I’m 90% sure that they’re fresh blooms. It’s getting difficult to keep track. Next year I’ll be twist tying the scapes.

Here are the two new blooms today.
Now, THESE are pictures of the blooms on some of the clumps we’d got into the ground. I actually finished planting off that section today.
The plants look rough since they’re fresh in the ground and it’s so hot now, plus many are not blooming now, we selected some late bloomers for the bulk of the row.
I’d planted 18 or so clumps, averaging 3’ wide in size.
Here’s a pick of o...

Well, as I promised I’m posting pics of the new clumps, fresh out of the ground..
I hauled these home in my car. With some creative placement it only took 3 trips.
A trunk full.. I can average 5 clumps in the trunk, 3 in the back seat and one in the front.
The aftermath of the transport.. This is why they make shop-vacs. ;)
All in all, it’s 25-28 clumps.. I lost track, actually.. Grand total? $110.
