Well, with how things go in this buisness I have been swamped at work so have slacked a bit online… Allow me to remedy that! So things are really beginning to move and shake in the bog. Many of the Sarracenia (NA pitcherplants) are heavily budded with some plants haveing 2 buds per point even! Finally getting close to having open flowers, they’re fully extended and beginning to nod. Orriginally written on :April 6th, 2008 Well with temperatures in the mid teens and the sun a shining, I couldn’t resist any longer, had to dig out the bog! Of course with how wet its been the whole area is kind if a muddy sponge so that made things interesting aswell hehe. Thats what I started with :S When I did it I took bird netting and ran a layer from one end to another, then piled on the pine needles and ran the netting back over to keep things in place.
