As mentioned I am an ardent composter and have a treasure trove of black nutritious compost that dates back about 20 years. Due to time restraints this year my garden is not getting as much care as it should.I had to move the sq foots to build my workshop so some plants didn’t get enough TLCHowever my bananna potatoes did get into the containers I scrounged and are now peaking thru the compost / soil. I will give the 4 plants a couple more days to leaf out and add more mix to the drum.That should net me some nice suppers in august. Well I have planted most of the seeds I will have in my garden areas and today I looked out the window, saw my shadow and I predict another 4 weeks of no planting outside. Meanwhile, in the greenhouse the seeds are transforming into Dycotyledons and so far no damp off! Yeah!
