I got the idea late and seeded late but the test results were fabulous. These are ,witihout a doubt, the most flavour filled delicious tomatoes I have ever grown! I will be making special provisions for them in the ensuing gardens. For a couple of mornings we had some gorgeous red skies, which prompted me to remember the old saying; The first morning the sky was brilliant red but the second had layers of clouds which made the colouring very interesting.
Well as this years gardening season has come to an end for me I am reflecting on this past year and the year(s) to come. Every Wed of the year, except 2 weeks at Christmas and New Years, the Mason Dixon Woodworkers get together to make toys for Christmas. We pass them out to 20 different charities on the first Sat of December. We meet at a workshop of a previous member who passed away 2 years ago.
